Barchester's South division have created an exciting internal developmental opportunity to join our talented team of Operational Trainers. We will support you through a training programme to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies relating to the role of Operational Trainer. Are you ready for a new challenge with Barchester?NEED TO HAVE:• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care• Working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care industry• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom• Motivation to complete training to become an independent, effective, and motivational Operational Trainer• Full UK driving licenceNEED TO DO:• Complete training under the guidance of an experienced Operational Trainer, including observing and delivering training courses• Attend external train the trainer courses• Ensure homes meet all induction and refresher mandatory and statutory training standards• Plan and publish training calendars• Observe workplace practice to ensure each home/hospital is delivering a good quality of care• Provide accurate reports to General Managers, Regional Directors, and Training and Compliance managers• Obtain a recognised training qualification • Support new employees through their induction period• Promote learning and development opportunities to new and existing staffThis is a home-based role, with travel across the region to 5 homes, and to meetings as and when required.
