Cyber Security Lead ( Shift based, Manchester )

As a Cyber Security Lead, you will report to the Head of Security Operations, lead and work with a small team of Security Analysts to handle the security incident escalated from the SOC service provider. You are expected to work on 3 shifts covering 24 x 7, 4 days on-site weekly. Client Details Our client is a Technology and Communication company, they are now expanding the security operations team and targeting to recruit 3 Cyber Shift Leads. Description Lead a team of cyber security analysts in a 24x7 shift-based environment, ensuring effective coverage and response to security incidents Monitor and analyse security alerts and events, investigate potential security incidents, and lead the response efforts to mitigate risks Coordinate and execute incident containment, eradication, and recovery activities, ensuring minimal business impact Provide technical guidance and mentor-ship to SOC analyst, enhancing their skill sets and performance Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes, lessons learned, and recommendations for enhancing the organisation's security postureProfile Experience in SOC, Cyber Incident Response environment Good exposure in IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security tools Experience in mentoring or leading junior analysts Welcome to current Senior Analyst to step up to Lead role Candidates must be eligible to be SC Clearance levelJob Offer bonus up to 20% Car allowance Shift allowance On job training
