Job: Deputy Regional Fundraising Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £14 per hour
Due to the continued success of the Oxfam in-house fundraising operation in Manchester, we are currently recruiting for a Deputy Regional Fundraising Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fundraising Manager, Senior Team Leader or Team Leader who is looking to take the next step in their fundraising career.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be the link between the operational side of the campaign and the teams working daily in the field. You will set an example to Team Leaders, whilst maintain the highest standards of performance and commitment. You will provide cover for the manager when necessary.
You will conduct interviews and hire new fundraisers and will provide training sessions and workshops to new hires and existing fundraisers. You will conduct performance reviews and evaluations with the team.
Oxfam’s in-house team in Manchester has a thriving and successful private site and telephone fundraising section and will soon be launching a D2D team. You will provide operational support to all sections.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has proven experience, either at Manager, Senior Team Leader or Team Leader level
- Has strong operational knowledge of private site fundraising and fundraising regulations
- Has fantastic leadership and people management skills
- Has the ability to coach and develop both new and experienced fundraisers
- Is professional, with a great attitude and is excited for fundraising innovation
