Global Category Manager – Primary Market Research – up to £640 per day

A fantastic opportunity to work in this large global health care company with offices based in South West London. As the Global Category Manager, you will be involved in sourcing and contract management across your category. This will include the development and implementation of category strategies, the management of supplier relationships and stakeholder management.

Your responsibilities

  • Procurement category strategy leadership for Primary Market Research and Insights
  • Business partnering of senior stakeholders and lead SRM for key strategic vendors in spend categories
  • Stakeholder alignment and Plan delivery
  • Contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance
  • Working across multiple countries requiring high cultural awareness
  • You will Know and utilise complex business processes in all supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Implement and support procurement strategies to maximise supplier leverage

To be successful in this role you must have:

University degree

Relevant procurement experience in a similar role having covered Primary or Secondary Market Research

Strong understanding of cultural differences when negotiating and managing strategic relationships

As you will be expected to operate independently, you must have demonstrable experience of contract management, negotiations, market knowledge of supplier capabilities
