About the role
As a Repairs Officer, you will receive, diagnose, record and process day to day repair requests from tenants. You’ll use our Housing Management System to provide relevant accurate and up to date information and advice on Rooftop services to tenants and colleagues.
You’ll investigate service requests, schedule appointments with tenants and issue job tickets on reported repairs to contractors or internal inspectors, notify tenants of re-chargeable works and record repairs logged.
The repairs desk is covered between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, on a rotational basis.
You’ll have proven experience of dealing with customer queries, updating databases, compiling information.
Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with IT literacy – databases, Word, Excel, email and internet communications. You’ll also have the ability to record data accurately.
Although not essential, experience of providing a repairs service is desirable.
