As a National Governing Body, the RFU has a responsibility to set a high standard for inclusion, fairness and equality of opportunity. The role holder will lead on the implementation of a regional training plan for coaches, match officials, medics and staff. They will develop and implement a regional plan to recruit, train and deploy a high-quality workforce to deliver match official, coaching, medical and safeguarding training, qualifications and support programmes. This includes the line management and deployment of a team of Coach Developers to deliver a programme of coach development courses and in situ 1:1 and small group mentoring support.
