Multi Trade- Social Housing Permanent - Full TimeWe are looking to recruit Multi Skilled Engineers to join a property services team predominantly working around the Waltham Forest area. About the RoleWorking to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you'll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with the best practise to achieve excellent customer experience. Repair of leaks, repair and replacement of toilet seats, replacement of showerheads or hoses, unblocking of waste traps, toilets, gutters, rainwater pipes and any other plumbing work where needed.Able to carry out finishing trades inclusive of plastering and thermal boarding.Repair patching of plaster and replacing small to large areas of tiles.General painting and making good paintwork after a repair.To carry out carpentry works including overhauling and replacement.To undertake different levels of tiling from splashback to full bath surround.The maintenance, management and installation of sanitary appliances including the soil and waste connections.To carry out an adequate level of brickwork and pointing works.Ability to install vinyl flooring. About YouCandidates will hold a City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent and have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety. Candidates will also be customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, you'll hold or be working towards holding a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card and have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, for the first time. You'll be punctual, reliable and comfortable operating small handheld plant such as drills and breakers. You must hold a valid full UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided.
