They're looking for a Senior Test Engineer to help test motors and motor controllers for use in various applications including agricultural, automotive, machinery etc. It's a mix of designing/developing tests, conducting tests and presenting results to the R&D team. This is one of a few brand new roles with an exciting and genuinely unique technology start-up company in Kemble. They are looking secure a Senior/Lead Mechcanical Engineer to take ownership of development of hardware for their range of products. The company develop telecommunications and monitoring devices for harsh environments across the globe. The role involves predominantly greenfield development with very little (if any!) supervision so it's vital that you're able to work independently, problem solve and take complete ownership of the electronics/hardware development for the team. ROLE: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION: Kemble SALARY: £65,000 Essential skills for the Senior Mechanical Engineer are: Expert 3D CAD (NX, Solidworks, Inventor) Some exposure to FEA, simulation (ANSYS) Non-destructive testing / evaluation Design for harsh environments (thermal/cold, shock, vibration) Problem solving and working with minimal supervision Due to the idea-sharing and R&D nature of the role, you will be required on-site in Kemble, although flexible hours and timings are allowed.
