Responsibilities Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct tooling and settings for each job. Perform fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and assembly as needed. Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Utilise hand tools and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in operating press brake machinery or similar equipment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in fabrication, welding, or related fields. Familiarity with sheet metal work and tooling techniques is highly desirable. Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations are essential. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
