The Successful Quality Inspector - Package: £16.00 £17.00 per hour (depending on experience) 37.5 hours per week Monday Thursday: 8:00am 16:30pm & Friday: 8:00am 13:30pm Permanent, full-time position Stable role within an established aerospace supplier with opportunities for progression The Successful Quality Inspector - Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in aerospace precision engineering. The ideal candidate will bring: Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using Faro Arm measuring equipment, with the ability to complete accurate dimensional inspections of complex, high-value components. Strong knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100 and ISO9001. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T. Experience carrying out FAIRs, ISIRs, and detailed inspection reports to customer requirements. A proactive approach to non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause/corrective actions. Hands-on experience with a range of manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM experience advantageous). Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a high-spec aerospace environment.
