Assembly Team Leader 19.50ph Days only, Monday - Friday Chesterfield 12 Week Temporary - Permanent role Metalis are currently supporting a well established company in Chesterfield who are looking for an Assembly Team Leader to join the team for the Temporary on going prodject. Role Overview: This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong mechanical background, has previous experience supervising / managing a team and has hands on experience in mechanical fitting, fabrication, or general engineering. The role is split 50/50 between Team Leading and Fitting. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing a team of 14 workers Carrying out teams meetings Fitting components and structures to engineering drawings and specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of all Fitted parts Support fabrication and build processes as required Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet required standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health & safety procedures Skills & Experience Required: Apprentice-trained or experienced in mechanical fitting Experience within a supervisory / team leader role Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand/power tools and various measuring equipment Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude Benefits: 19.50ph Days Monday to Friday Weekly pay Opportunity to work with a stable, growing business that values its employees If this role is something of interest to you, please apply today!

Job Role: Business Systems & Project Manager Location: Daventry Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum Metalis are currently working with a well established manufacturer in Daventry, who are looking for a Business Systems & Project Manager to join their team. Job Duties: Maintain and develop the business management systems Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies and customers Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate Assist with setting department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance First point of contact for supplier and customer-driven systems Undertake regular system, product/process, and effectiveness testing audits across all business management systems Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on relevant business management systems Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non-conformities found Job Requirements: Good understanding of various business management systems Aerospace/Automotive experience Manufacturing environment experience Good knowledge of compliance and quality standards Salary & Shift: Up to 45,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV!
