We re working with a well-established bakery business known for its quality, innovation, and delicious products and they re looking for a talented Specifications Technologist to join their technical team on a 12-month contract . If you re meticulous with detail, confident navigating retailer portals, and passionate about getting specs right the first time, this could be the perfect fit. What You ll Be Doing: Creating and maintaining accurate product specifications across multiple platforms Liaising with NPD, Technical, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth product launches Managing artwork approval and ensuring compliance with retailer and legal standards Supporting technical documentation and responding to customer queries Playing a key role in audit readiness and continuous improvement What We re Looking For: Previous experience in a specifications role within food manufacturing (bakery a bonus!) Strong working knowledge of retailer systems (e.g. Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury s, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Confident communicator across departments and with external stakeholders Available to commit to a 12-month contract , with potential for extension This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected brand, contribute to exciting product development, and be part of a supportive, fast-paced technical team.
