The roleWe are delighted to be supporting our client with their search for a Payroll Coordinator. This is a busy office and the role will be on-site. Key Responsibilities Process weekly/fortnightly and monthly payrolls, including starters, leavers, and changes. Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) and company sick pay. Generate P45s, SSP1s, SMP1s, and year-end P60s. Upload pension files to numerous providers and manage auto-enrolment duties. Handle bonus payments, payroll journals, reports, and payslip distribution. Maintain payroll calendars and ensure deadlines are met. Submit FPS, EPS, and produce monthly P32 reports. Set up new clients and financial years on payroll systems. Respond to queries from employers, employees, and third parties. Make payments via BACS or provide net pay data to clients. The person Skills/Attributes: Previous payroll experience (preferably in a bureau/multi-client setting). Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
