Gold Star Metal Traders is looking for an Experienced HGV Fitter Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trucks, trailers, plant and vans. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Skills & Experience Needed: Minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 Minimum 2 years' experience as HGV Fitter Knowledge of HGV systems, engine's, transmission's & mechanical components Strong problem-solving skill's with the ability to interpret technical documents and schematics Excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work A valid manual driving licence is essential; HGV licence is an advantage but not mandatory Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks and work within guidelines and to set deadlines Excellent communication and team working skills Own toolbox and tools Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations. This position is predominantly van based/mobile Salary: £49,000 - £52,000 + vehicle Bonus after successfully passing probation period Working hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Friday Based at March depot but will need to be able to travel to other sites, Kings Lynn & Sutton Bridge Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £49,000.00-£52,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Experience: as HGV Fitter: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: HGV Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: HGV1
