Job Summary: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for planning / designing new manufacturing processes and reviewing existing processes in an industrial plant. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to achieve optimal operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the layout of equipment and workflow and implement improvements to improve efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of processes across the facility. Document and maintain all process-related documents and ensure compliance with business and industry standards. Provide support and training to operators and staff on new processes or equipment setups. Provide support to maintenance teams to maintain equipment availability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or a recognised apprenticeship in Engineering (or related field) Relevant experience in manufacturing or a related area. Proven capabilities and knowledge of Lean concepts, and practices, applicable in a manufacturing field. Must be able to operate effectively independently. Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. 2D or 3D CAD skills essential Reporting Structure: Reports to Engineering Manager, with primary job functions that require independent judgement. We are looking for reliable, hardworking people to work in fast-paced assembly roles, on a day shift position, starting ASAP. You will ideally have experience in Assembly production/ Manufacturing, and be able to follow instruction. Good dexterity is a must, due to the small parts. You will also be working with the handling of chemicals (training will be provided). This is a fantastic opportunity for a temporary, on-going position. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am until 16:45 and Friday 8am until 12:30. Pay is 12.41 per hour, increasing to 12.65 after 12 weeks. You may be using tweezers, small machines, electronic screwdrivers or just using your hands so you must have good dexterity skills & hand eye co-ordination. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and will need to be comfortable working with chemicals. You should be comfortable working to hourly targets.
