Key Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the facility. Support the design, installation, and upgrading of automation systems to improve packing line efficiency. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations. Assist with project planning, equipment upgrades, and implementation of new technologies. Annual PAT Testing of all electrical items. Ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations. Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent). AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) Assessment. Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Experience working with both single-phase (230V) and three-phase (400V) systems. Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations. Desirable (but not essential): ECS/CSCS Card for site work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that all products are inspected to the relevant customer specifications on Goods Inwards Have a clear understanding of Customer Specifications and their requirements. Understand and complete all relevant documents and reports correctly, including design of new documentation within the department. Work alongside the production team to ensure the product meets the customer specifications at all times. Report all quality issues found to the Quality Manager/Technical Manager Adhere to and update/ improve all QA procedures at all times. Liaise with the Production Team on daily activities. Ability to identify and communicate stock on arrival that requires using first. Check the Del Rep system for incoming loads. Ensure all quality reports are sent to customers/suppliers. Carryout internal audits against the internal audit schedule. Have clear understanding on stock age with the ability to identify stock required for re-inspection Have the ability to host visits from Customers and Clients when required. Ensure that daily task have been issued to all QA personnel. Maintain staff training Ability to train QA staff, and production operatives in quality checking of product. Assist in the investigation and administration of customer complaints and report accordingly. Work with the Technical Manager to enhance / improve quality systems. Assist the Karsten technical department with compliance due diligence checking. Report any offensive or malicious behaviour to the management.
