You will also be responsible for setting up and conducting tests using hydraulic test rigs, ensuring all equipment meets required performance standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and test hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies. Be able to read Schematic Drawings Set up and conduct tests on hydraulic test rigs, using instruments such as pressure gauges and flow meters. Record and analyse test results, producing detailed maintenance and service reports. Assemble small electrical boxes (experience with electro-hydraulics is advantageous). Maintain high standards of workshop organisation and housekeeping. What We're Looking For Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A proactive and organised approach to work. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment. Engineering background (preferred but not essential). Forklift licence and full UK driving licence (desirable but not required). Hard-working, reliable, and flexible, with a strong eye for detail. The right person should be able to competently programme, set and operate CNC Milling machine for production and have previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing machine shop environment. The Candidate must: Have solid experience in programming CNC Milling machines. Have previous Operating/Setting and machining experience large sized components with Heidenhain controls Be fully conversant with reading and interpreting engineering drawings Be competent in producing high quality components. Be able to use engineering measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers etc Have strong communication and time management skills. Be able to work under own initiative. Be a team player.
