Job Overview: We are currently seeking2 class 2 Drivers Trucks are MAN TGL- Ton Sleeper Curtain with Taillift. Trucks have Cool Box ( no Fridge ) does not have microwave, TRUCKS ARE BASED NEAR SHREWSBURY SECURED YARD The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations in UK and occasional International exhibitions, ensuring timely deliveries and safe handling of cargo THE TRUCKS ARE TRAMPING AND WILL REQUIRE upto 4 NIGHTS AWAY possibly more if on the Continent with Duty Free and Shows / Exhibitions, Drivers are paid even waiting at events, NIGHT OUT ALLOWANCE IS PAID. Responsibilities:- Drive a commercial vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and regulations- Safely load and unload goods from the Curtain side lorry- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and ensure roadworthiness- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times Requirements:- Valid UK driving licence with Commercial Driving entitlement- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Truck Driver- Familiarity with Curtain side lorries and securing loads- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively- Strong communication and customer service skills- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks, We are also in process of adding another Artic to our Fleet so if a Class 1 License this could be benificial for the applicants, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY IT IS NIGHTS OUT SO IF YOU DONT WANT NIGHTS OUT DONT WASTE OUR TIME APPLYING, Thank you Job Type: Full-time Pay: £600.00-£900.00 per week Benefits: Company pension Free parking Experience: Driving: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Driver CPC (preferred) Work Location: In person
