SEND Learning Support Workers Full time term time only Doncaster Special school We are recruiting for Special Educational Needs Learning support workers for supply cover within a large special school in the Doncaster area September start on a temporary basis with an opportunity of becoming permanent . The special school is a through school from age range 3 19 years old. Therefore a Child and Adult workforce DBS is essential. If you would like further information about the SEND support assistant positions, please contact me on: (phone number removed) or email (url removed) We are looking for individuals from the following backgrounds: SEND Teaching assistants, support workers, personal care assistants, social care workers and similar background or experiences. If you have, the following qualifications and or training this will also be beneficial: GNVQ level 3 in health and social care, SEND diploma, MA in SEND, Makaton, PECS, Peg feed, personal care, medication trained, hoist training, moving and handling, Autism awareness, Team Teach, MAPPA, PRYCE, BSL, sensory training, play therapy or similar training and or qualifications. Having experience working with individuals with a wide range of special educational needs including: Verbal and nonverbal Autistic spectrum disorder, Downs Syndrome, Asperger s, specific learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, Pathological avoidance difficulties, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
