As Kitchen Porter , you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen areas clean, washing up and assisting the chefs when required. Key Responsibilities: To undertake all duties as requested by Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and its equipment. Operation of dishwasher / glasswasher machines; hand washing of cooking equipment. Empty kitchen bins and refill with new bags. To ensure external bin areas are kept neat, clean and tidy. To keep chemical pumps topped up. Ie, washing up liquid, degreaser. Ensuring that at the end of each shift everything is cleaned and the floor is swept and mopped.
