Contract opportunity Expected 6 month contract (may be 3 month with 3 month extension) £35 per hour Outside IR35 4on, 4off (days & nights) Experience of working in a fast-paced, automated, distribution environment or similar? I am looking to speak with experienced, electrically biased, maintenance engineers for a new contract position with a company based in the Glasgow region. Working on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, you will be required to work alongside the existing team of maintenance engineers on both reactive and preventative tasks in supporting the facilities distribution activities. The client, a large manufacturing business, needs additional support for a likely period of 6 months. You will be working in partnership with the existing permanent engineering team to maintain a variety of distribution equipment including conveyors, cranes and wrappers. Due to site regulations, you MUST hold an HNC/HND level qualification as well as a Level 3 NVQ (minimum) You must have both qualifications in order to be considered for this role. The NVQ must be a work based competency qualification such as part of an Apprenticeship or standalone NVQ. Key requirements: Proven experience of working in a similar maintenance engineering role Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability and willingness to work on both reactive and PPM jobs You must be happy and have previous experience of working at height and any qualifications/certifications in this field would be highly beneficial.
