We are Looking for a skilled Project Security Engineer responsible responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day site operations, leading installation, and commissioning activities, and overseeing both our clients engineering team and subcontractors. Your expertise will ensure the seamless deployment of advanced security systems, consistently delivering high-quality service that exceeds client expectations. Please note, this role covers the North West Region of England and surrounding areas you must be happy to travel. What you will do: Execute installations efficiently, ensuring adherence to contract budgets and timelines. Coordinate daily site activities, managing internal and external interfaces and subcontractor resources to ensure seamless progress. Build and maintain strong client relationships by liaising regularly and attending site meetings to keep them informed and satisfied. Prepare and submit precise project reports as directed by the Project Manager, keeping stakeholders informed of progress. Complete all required paperwork with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely submission and compliance. Always provide exceptional customer service, going beyond to exceed expectations. What we are looking for: At least 4 years of experience in the fire and security industry, with a strong understanding of security systems, including access control and IP CCTV, with experience in both integrated and standalone solutions. Proficient in using industry-standard equipment such as Galaxy, Pyronix, Paxton, AXIS, PELCO, and more. Familiar with CDM regulations, ensuring compliance and safety on all projects. Solid understanding of network architectures, client-server topologies, and their application in security systems. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges. Current full driving license. Key Responsibilities Install and commission IP CCTV systems. Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on CCTV equipment. Identify and resolve system issues on-site with minimal supervision. Complete all relevant documentation and reports on time. Train end users on new systems and provide guidance on potential false alarm risks. Ensure professional and effective communication with clients. Prepare equipment and documentation prior to site visits. Manage van stock, conduct stock checks, and replenish as required. Maintain the condition and safety of your assigned vehicle, reporting any faults. Perform on-the-day risk assessments and identify site-specific hazards.
