As part of our leadership team, you ll help deliver on our bold vision: empowering individuals to live rich, independent lives, supported by a confident and skilled workforce. The role will include holding registered manager status for four residential services (across Pickering, Whitby & Filey) and oversee a number of direct reports who are responsible for day to day management within the services via respective staff teams. In this role, you will: Inspire and lead service teams with a strong culture of accountability and support Develop and expand our presence across the region Drive data-informed improvements and digital-first approaches Collaborate across teams to align strategy and service delivery We re looking for someone who: Holds (or is working toward) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Has strong experience supporting people with disabilities and/or autism Knows the care sector inside-out, from compliance and contracts to innovation and community connection Thrives in dynamic environments and knows how to balance long-term vision with day-to-day delivery Join us. We are seeking a Service Manager to join our team in Ripon & Thirsk, where you ll lead and inspire teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support. About the Role As a Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contract requirements. You will champion innovation, digital engagement, and continuous improvement to enhance the lives of those we support. Your leadership will help create a culture that values human rights, diversity, and active citizenship. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop teams to provide outstanding support. Drive service improvement by using data-driven insights and reflective practice. Manage financial and staffing resources efficiently to maintain high standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including families and health professionals. Support workforce development, including training, supervision, and recruitment. What We re Looking For NVQ Level 3 with a willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or earlier equivalent qualifications such as Level 4 NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services (LMCS). Experience in a management role within the social care sector. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and best practices in care. A values-driven approach with a commitment to inclusion and continuous improvement. Comfortable using digital tools like Microsoft Office and data reporting systems (e.g. Power BI). Why Join Us?
