Park Avenue are currently recruiting a Housing Officer for a Housing Association based in East Sussex. Reporting to the Head of Housing you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive housing management service to tenants on your patch, ensuring a professional and high quality service at all times. Duties will include; Provide a first class housing and tenancy management service to tenants across your patch, resolving queries in an efficient and professional manner. Visiting tenants to ensure that they are adhering to the tenancy agreement. Managing ASB and nuisance queries. Working with the Rent Income department to ensure that any discrepancies in payment are dealt with. Managing voids process, including advertising of voids, assessing new applicants and arranging voids works. Liaise with repairs department to ensure all repairs are completed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a housing officer who is seeking a new challenge on the South Coast. The working pattern is agile with the option to work from two local offices should you desire. A Local Authority in Essex is looking for a Senior Housing Options Officer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract . Although titled Senior Officer , this role operates at a Team Leader level within their structure. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day support and mentoring of 3 to 5 Housing Options Officers , as well as overseeing duty cover twice a week . While the Homelessness Manager handles formal 1-to-1s, you'll be the go-to person for operational advice, case support, and escalation queries. Experience using Locata is highly desirable. If you're an experienced Housing Options professional with a supportive leadership style and a strong understanding of Part 7 duties, this could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities: Manage a small DLO (approx. 6-7 operatives including voids surveyors and an apprentice). Oversee responsive and planned repairs across a range of supported and independent living properties. Lead the voids process , ensuring properties are turned around efficiently. Take ownership of property compliance - including gas safety, electrical testing, legionella, and emerging regulatory requirements. Be regularly present on-site across multiple properties - this is not a remote or purely desk-based role. Ensure health and safety standards are met and proactively managed across the portfolio. Work alongside managing agents and contribute to housing charity commitments as part of the wider remit. The Portfolio: 4 supported housing schemes located across different areas of Birmingham . 4 care home properties. Approx. 160 units of supported and independent living accommodation. Park Avenue are delighted to be working with a leading London based housing provider to recruit an interim Rent Income Officer. Working within a busy rents department you will take responsibility for the effective management of rent income and arrears levels across your patch. Your duties will include; Monitor tenants rent accounts and take required action to address non-payment, including setting up repayment plans. Review the incoming receipts of any housing benefit payments due and follow up on any discrepancies. Initiate any legal action against continued arrears, including applying for and attending court on behalf of the organisation. Investigate former tenant's arrears. Liaise with other departments to ensure tenants have access to external organisations in relation to debt management. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within the rent income departments for housing associations or local authorities. You will be able to utilise your existing knowledge to provide a seamless service to residents. This client works a hybrid pattern. Role is initially for six months with a possible extension.

Property Surveyor / Inspector - Surrey (Reactive Repairs & Void Properties) We are working with a Local Authority in Surrey that is seeking a dedicated Property Surveyor / Inspector to join their housing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents, maintaining housing quality, and ensuring safe, well-managed homes. You will be managing a team of four to five S202 Reviews Officers who are working through a backlog of Part 6 and Part 7 S202 Reviews. While your primary responsibility will be direct management, you will also provide technical input on more complex cases or those requiring legal support, including Ombudsman matters. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Reviews Officer with proven management skills. Previous experience leading a team of Reviews Officers will be highly valued. Knowledge of the Hope/Home Connections system is desirable but not essential. This role requires office attendance two days per week, with biweekly meetings with the Reviews Manager to review team performance and incoming cases.
