This is a new children's home that is opening, and will be offering a residential service for children and young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviours. The children are aged between 7-17 years old, and is a 3 / 4 bed home. Duties: To join a team of residential care staff ensuring that safe and appropriate care practices are always maintained To support the Manager in all aspects of the home s operation, whilst maintaining positive childcare practice, in keeping with the aims and objectives of the home To provide a safe, warm and supportive environment to our residents whilst being involved in the planning and organisation of the home To maintain a regular recording system in connection with each young person, be involved in the implementation of care plans and assist in the publication of reports when required To attend review and planning meetings when required Required: You must have at least 2 years of experience in a Children's Residential setting.
