Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. ABOUT THE COMPANY: The company specialises in delivering both precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions, defence project work and the design and manufacture of superior quality work-holding solutions. Founded in the UK, in 1939, they has been working with customers to turn complex ideas and concepts into solutions for over 80 years and has built an exemplary international reputation. PAY: 18 - 19 per hour (Depending on experience) WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday (07:15 AM until 16:15 PM) and Friday (07:15 AM until 12:15 PM) - Flexible for the right person. OVERTIME: Overtime is available consistently and is paid at time-and-a-half. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working on 2x Doosan VMC (2M bed) CNC milling machines. Programming using Fanuc controls. Producing parts and components for the Defence, Aerospace, and Nuclear industries. Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards. REQUIREMENTS: Previous CNC milling experience is required. Previous experience using Fanuc controls is required. A committed and driven approach to work. Ambition to stay with the company long-term. To have a hardworking approach towards daily requirements. This position would suit someone who is passionate about CNC machining with the possibility of progressing further for the right person when the current owners retire. The company is managed and owned by fully skilled apprentice trained machinists, they supply high quality CNC machined components to the following industries: Motor Sport F1 / GT & Rally Components. Medical Equipment & Instrumentation. Data Acquisition Equipment. Defence Engineering. Automation & Process Control Equipment. Automotive Manufacturing. Robotics. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.00pm) and Friday (7.30am - 3.00pm) - Full time, permanent (39 hours per week + occasional overtime).
