Site Manager - SR163 National Grid Security Project, Portsmouth Long-term contract opportunity - Start October We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a National Grid project in Portsmouth. This role focuses on security upgrade works and offers a long-term contract with strong potential for extension. Scope of Works Installation of security cameras and surveillance systems Cable laying and containment installation Security systems and access control upgrades Coordination of subcontractors delivering specialist security packages Key Responsibilities Oversee installation of physical security systems including CCTV, access control, fencing, and audio response Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Manage site safety, commissioning, and integration of new systems Ideal Candidate Profile Must hold National Grid authorisations and have previously been nominated under SR163 Proven experience managing National Grid projects or other high-security projects Strong understanding of physical security systems and stakeholder coordination Contract Details Location: Portsmouth Duration: Long-term contract (12 months + extensions likely) Start date: October Rate: Competitive-negotiable depending on experience and authorisations held Please apply with an updated CV and one of the team will be in touch.
