Join us as Stockroom Manager in our Brighton Store on London Road 95-97 BN1 4JF. This is a permanent position for 35 hours per week including weekends on a rota basis. About the role Our Stockroom Managers lead by example. Your hard work and commitment means we are able to invest donations from the public into heart and circulatory research to help us all live longer, healthier lives with the people we love. You will be responsible for stock control & movement and organising van drivers to prepare collections and deliveries, whilst working in a way that reduces the risk of injury and damage to all other assets of the business, in accordance with all safety regulations, promoting safety and wellbeing. Great customer service is essential to maximise income as is the sourcing and merchandising of home products. It's hard work, with lots of heavy lifting, but no two days are the same, and you'll find it really rewarding helping to fund life saving research. About you You'll be an experienced Stockroom Manager who is confident working in a fast-paced environment. Working with the Store Manager you will have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of staff and volunteers, encouraging them to bring new ideas and to build their knowledge of the BHF.
