MRICS Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: MRICS Quantity Surveyor Location: Leeds Sector: Construction Consultancy (Residential - BtR & PBSA) Are you an experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge with a leading construction consultancy? Our client, a highly respected and growing consultancy based in Leeds, is looking to expand their commercial team with a driven and capable Quantity Surveyor. The Role You will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services across a range of exciting projects, with a strong focus on the Build to Rent (BtR) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors. Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll manage the full life cycle of projects - from feasibility through to final accounts - ensuring value, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking at all stages of the project lifecycle. Managing and administering contracts, including JCT and NEC. Preparing tender documentation and analysing bids. Providing commercial advice and client liaison throughout. Leading on residential sector projects with a focus on BtR and PBSA. Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate. About You MRICS qualified (or close to achieving chartership). Previous experience working within a construction consultancy environment . Strong commercial knowledge with a proven track record in the residential sector . Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
