ROLE As a Nights Hygiene Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the manufacturing environment is kept impeccably clean and hygienic in line with food safety regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to engage with different departments to maintain hygiene compliance. Key Responsibilities Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitation of equipment, production areas, and facilities during night shifts Ensure hygiene procedures comply with internal policies and external food safety standards Work collaboratively with Production, Technical, and Maintenance teams Identify and report any hygiene or safety non-conformances Confidently challenge poor practices and uphold hygiene standards Maintain hygiene documentation and records accurately and clearly CANDIDATE Previous experience in a hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment A passion for hygiene and a commitment to maintaining high standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills The confidence to liaise across departments and challenge where necessary A minimum Level 2 Food Safety qualification COSHH training (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) A formal cleaning qualification is desirable Why choose this Business?
