Are you an education expert? We are currently looking to represent an experienced Science Teacher at a STEM academy in Coventry, West Midlands. If you are an experienced Science Teacher who is available immediately or from October half-term 2025, we would be keen to speak with you. The academy places a strong emphasis on raising learners aspirations, providing them with the motivation and drive to succeed. Through close partnerships with leading regional employers and strong links with further and higher education, the curriculum has been shaped from the outset to reflect the skills and ethos valued in today s professional world. Collaboration is central to the academy s approach, with learners regularly working in teams to develop key attributes such as problem solving, creativity, leadership, communication, resilience and adaptability. Staff play an active role in modelling these behaviours, ensuring that students are well prepared for future careers and highly sought after by employers. We are looking for a science specialist to begin a long term, interim teaching job immediately. However, if you are interested and available from October half term your application will also be considered. The role is initially offered as a full time, term time only post but a flexible timetable could also be considered. We are open to receiving applications from candidates who can be available from two to three days or those who may be able to work shorter days due to their own family commitments. A standard working day is 8.30am to 4.15pm with reduced hours offered on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays giving you a finish time of 3.20pm. As mentioned, if we need to discuss hours around school drop offs/pick ups this is a possibility. You will work with students from years 10 to year 13 supporting them with all three Science specialisms.
