Company benefits include: Competitive Salary: Skilled fitters can expect a base salary of around £43,000 per annum depending on experience, with realistic potential annual earnings of £47,000+ Other benefits: Double time pay for all non-rostered overtime Holiday pay calculated on average earnings Increased holiday entitlement with length of service Annual performance-related bonus As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, your key responsibilities will include: Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections Attending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs/servicing at customer sites Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations Working efficiently, responsibly, and in a timely manner A C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required) About you: For the Trailer Technician / Fitter role, you ll bring relevant mechanical/engineering skills and ideally previous experience in a similar role. Strong time management, reliability, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is required. We also welcome applications from those with less experience. If you have a mechanical background or training, we can provide further development. Trainee Fitters with mechanical skills can expect to earn between £34,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime.
