Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in HGVs - Conduct inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions - Undertake Servicing and MOT prep - Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems - Solder and repair wiring connections - Fabricate or modify parts as needed - Conduct heavy lifting as required for repairs or maintenance tasks - Dig into engine components to identify and fix problems - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions - Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour time Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge of HGV systems and components - Proficiency in equipment repair techniques - Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals - Capability to handle heavy lifting during repairs or maintenance tasks - Experience in fabricating or modifying parts as needed - Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping Package: Salary: £45000-£50000 doe Overtime available Opportunity to gain additional qualifications and progress career Negotiable shift patterns If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we invite you to apply.
