Within this role, you will monitor and progress work within the department in line with scheduled requirements and will be responsible for signing off completed work. You will need to allocate labour where required in order for production schedules to be met including requesting and organising overtime to meet business demands. Manufacturing Team Leader - Key Skills required: You will be initiating and leading continuous improvement so a working knowledge of 5S, six sigma and lean manufacturing would be advantageous. It would be preferred that you have management experience in a sheet metal manufacturing role and you must be able to read and understand technical drawings and use a range of measuring equipment. A CNC/mechanical background would be advantageous along with IOSHH training. You will need to be physically fit and also have line management experience of a small team.
