Execute cycle inspections, making sure all parts produced are within tolerance and completing ADRS report sheets when required. Setting up the machines and tooling fixtures, as requested by the Production Engineers. Supporting apprentices with their on-the-job learning. Cleaning and de-burring the parts you ve produced. Immediately reporting any non-conformant parts, after establishing the cause of error. Maintaining Health and Safety standards, following appropriate protocols and assisting colleagues to do the same. Recording all production hours and non-productive hours. What qualities will the ideal CNC Machinist have? Previous Workshop experience. Experience in all aspects of machining, both manual and CNC. Qualification with an Engineering apprenticeship or possessing relevant experience. Confidence with rudimentary IT skills. Experience with controlling Fanuc machines. Experience and knowledge working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy Materials. Strong literacy and numerical skills. Experience of machine part inspections using gauges. Capability in metric conversions, based on drawings. Ability to edit CNC programmes when needed. Ability to use CMM for inspections. Versatility with multiple machines. This overtime bonus structure offers 1.5 x basic hourly pay Monday - Saturday and for any Sundays or bank holidays worked 2 x basic hourly pay.
