Metrology Engineer (CMM Machines) Swindon Up to £35,000 DOE 25 + 8 days holiday + Benefits Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 Friday finish 12:00. 12 month rolling contract with realistic extensions and potential for a permanent contract Metrology Engineer with CMM programming skills sought for a modern, high tech global manufacturer. The role will be suited to an experienced Metrology Engineer/CMM programmer operator, from a precision engineering environment. You will have proven experience with CMM program writing, ability to conduct current program reviews, carry out basic fault finding and rectification. You will also be the first point of contact for all CMM related issues. The Metrology Engineer role will be to take ownership of the CMM area responsible for 3 CMM machines. You will undertake writing CMM programs for new products, conduct prove out activities for new components and review all current CMM programs. As the first point of contact for all CMM related issues you will use your skill and experience to fault find diagnose and where possible repair. You will also conduct calibration activities within the role and ISIR for all purchased components.
