Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Warwick Remuneration: - Day Rate: 550pwd, paid via Umbrella Company - Contract Length: 6 months, potential to move to Perm Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using tools like Matillion. Develop and maintain Data warehouse objects like tables, views, and security roles in a Snowflake database. Extract data from various sources, such as databases, flat files, and APIs. Experience with traditional and non-traditional forms of analytical data design (Kimbal, Inmon, etc). Proficiency in SQL programming and relational database concepts. Experience with loading and maintaining a data warehouse. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with six years of related experience, or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 4 years of related experience required. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Strong organisational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritisation of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake. Domain knowledge in the area of finance data is preferred. Experience with SAP Systems and Databases. The Data Warehousing (DW) Developer will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing, and deployment of reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

To qualify for the role, you will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferably with working experience and knowledge of IT, Manufacturing industries, regulations and environment.
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and experience working with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Data Warehousing tools, including building reports, creating dashboards, and implementing data visualizations.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
