Job Title Interim Management Accountant, reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer in the Finance Team. Job Overview The business requires a Management Accountant to assist the Group Chief Financial Officer in the financial planning and analysis of the business. The individual is responsible for producing the KPI reporting for the Company on a weekly and monthly basis to be reviewed by senior management and the Board. The KPIs are discussed by the business on a weekly basis and the Management Accountant will be a key participant in these meetings. The individual will be a key participant in the production of the Board Monthly Management Accounts pack. The individual will need to communicate effectively within the business, advising the senior finance team and senior management on key findings. Responsibilities and Duties Produce weekly and monthly KPI reporting for the UK and European businesses Ensure the Management Accounts Board Pack is completed within the monthly deadlines Identify and key trends in business performance and communicate to the business Business partner with departments to investigate disappointing trends and discuss solutions with appropriate stakeholders Assist the Group Chief Financial Officer with sales budgeting and forecasting and understand variances to budget Develop streamlined reporting schedules to be produced consistently Qualifications and Experience Naturally driven and must want to understand and improve current reporting Strong communication skills compared to their peers and able to articulate findings to senior management and junior employees within the business CIMA or equivalent qualified Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience of using Looker or similar programs is preferable but not essential Experience of Google Sheets and Docs is preferable but not essential Experience of managing a small team of direct reports is preferable but not essential
