We have a wide variety of exciting projects that we are working on which will help shape the West Yorkshire region. In 2021 the £1.8bn devolution deal was secured for West Yorkshire. This meant the first Mayor of West Yorkshire was subsequently elected, with Tracy Brabin taking up post in May 2021. The devolution deal and election of the Mayor has enabled us to start to drive up living standards for local communities while tackling the climate emergency and helping to deliver our commitment to become a net zero carbon city region by 2038. The Role The person will be a visible point of contact and will be expected to provide a high level of customer services to all users of CA bus stations. You will be responsible for Bus Station site management, including cleaning, facilities, resources, legislative compliance and coordination of multiple partners, enabling effective operations. The role will primarily be based at Bradford bus station, but requires flexibility to move to any bus station within West Yorkshire. On site coordination of operators, drivers and external agencies such as emergency services, local authorities and day to day contact with tenants, retailers and other commercial ventures to provide a seamless service to the customer by building and maintaining productive relationships. You will be the responsible officer working weekends on a shift basis, the post will also require flexibility in working nights, early/late shifts and bank holiday. About you You will be the main focal point within the community, bringing town centre initiatives into the bus station environment and leading on community town/city event coordination so the person we are looking for needs to have confidence and the ability to liaise with people at all levels. You must have strong team management skills as you'll be required to directly manage staff and supervise contracted support staff to ensure high standards of customer service are delivered and internal policies and procedures are followed at all times" You must have good motivation skills to be able to develop your team to ensure targets are achieved.
