Control machine spares for area of responsibility - sourcing, ordering and organizing - utilize the vend machine for repetitive high volume consumable parts and other critical spares which can be controlled with this method5. Maintain records of all Maintenance work - In-house breakdowns, corrective work and external contracted work from OEM suppliers and specialists - utilize the CMMS system (Pirana) to ensure records and history is updated frequently and following all work6. Work with Production to ensure TPM checks are completed by the operators and any Maintenance corrective actions are followed up and completed within the specified timeframe7. Undertake unplanned/breakdown repair activities liaising with production.8. Provide out of hours maintenance support for all areas working shifts9. Undertake Project work which will involve machine moves, installations, upgrades and improvements. Involvement in setting up spares system for new and existing equipment, preventative maintenance records and TPM checks for Operators10. Liaise with external suppliers and specialists to fault find and support Machine reliability11. Utilize root cause analysis and complete breakdown reports to determine root cause and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence12. Identify and implement Projects to increase productivity, reliability and uptime of automated equipment within manufacturing13. Take responsibility for 6S and housekeeping in own workshop and other areas used - 6S target >85%14. Assist with mentoring, training and guidance of apprentices, operators and other members of staff as required15. Attend meetings to provide technical support on breakdowns or work arounds when equipment has failed - dates for when countermeasure will be put in place and improved Maintenance techniques16. Participate in training and development opportunities to keep knowledge abreast with technology17.
