Graduate Programme This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects. As part of the Graduate Development Programme, you will go through a structured development programme, undertaking leadership, management, soft skills and safety modules with your graduate cohort. The role is varied and fulfilling with support provided to you by a site based Senior Contract Manager and wider support network coupled with a dedicated training plan supported by our own in house training providers. What will you be doing? You will have vital exposure to several disciplines such as Financial Planning and P&L responsibility, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management, Operations Management, Customer Service and Personnel Management Working on one of the highest value Veolia Contracts in the UK, with over a quarter of a billion pounds invested in highly advanced technological infrastructure providing sustainable environmental solutions to our client Working with 6 different local authorities, Veolia leads the way in providing innovative recycling, energy recovery and composting solutions on a significant scale No two days will ever be the same! As a Graduate Assistant Contract Manager, you will support the Contract Manager and Operational Managers in day to day duties including; client liaison, financial modelling, data driven decision making, learning about upcoming legislation, wasteflow mapping, creating data dashboards and supporting operational colleagues to ensure compliance You will need to be innovative and proactive, driving improvements both in your service and the one we offer our client. Innovation is key to our industry and allows Veolia to deliver value for money solutions You will also deputise for the Contract Manager, such tasks as client meetings, direct client interface and dealing with the client's requests What are we looking for?
