The ideal Vehicle Mechanic/Technician would have an NVQ3 or above and looking for a role in a well-established company where you will take on to work on some of the UK's most secret defence projects with the options of earning extra & lots of training + progression. THE ROLE: Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties. Adhere to customer requirements, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of issued stores and equipment. Skills & Experience Required: Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of EUC technologies including: Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, Azure AD Citrix/VMware Horizon, VDI Intune, SCCM, Autopilot Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments. Security & Governance: Experience implementing secure EUC environments with zero-trust architecture. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. This 18-month fixed-term contract will see you managing the planning and delivery of end-user technology and infrastructure readiness, ensuring that sites across multiple countries are fully prepared for a smooth programme rollout. What you'll be doing Leading the coordination of end-user technology and infrastructure readiness activities across multiple sites. Gathering and validating floor plans and layouts to support efficient device deployment. Overseeing the logistics, delivery, and setup of IT equipment and end-user devices. Ensuring environments are ready for go-live, including power, networking, and secure workspaces. Working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to configure, test, and provision devices.
