You'll be responsible for delivering GCSE Maths, supporting students across the school, and leading the subject as a Maths Subject Lead. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of autistic pupils who have struggled in mainstream education and need a tailored, compassionate approach. What You'll Be Doing Teaching Maths up to GCSE level in small class groups (max. 6 pupils) Supporting learners with autism and developmental trauma, helping close gaps in learning Leading on the Maths curriculum and supporting cross-school development Adapting lessons to meet a wide range of abilities and individual needs Creating a calm, supportive, and engaging classroom environment Working with a team of passionate educators and therapists to help every child thrive What We're Looking For QTS / BEd / PGCE or equivalent Proven experience of teaching Maths at GCSE level Experience supporting SEN and/or disadvantaged learners A compassionate, calm, and emotionally intelligent approach Understanding of autism, trauma-informed practices, and behaviour as communication Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
