This is a key role in their internal IT and development function ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, responsibility, and smart engineering. Why this role? You ll lead on all things Azure: scaling infrastructure, streamlining deployments, and mentoring others while shaping the platform that underpins their success. This isn t a huge corporate engine, it s a business that moves quickly, values input, and encourages innovation. You ll be the go-to for infrastructure as code, cloud security, and optimisation, working closely with Dev and Ops to ensure performance, resilience and reliability across the business-critical systems. What you ll bring: Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and core services Strong Terraform knowledge for infrastructure as code Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices Experience with Docker, AKS and Helm Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash or Python) Awareness of monitoring tools across Azure (Log Analytics, App Insights etc.) Understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Practical bits: Hybrid working typically 2 3 days a week in the office Office location is rural, so you ll need to be a car driver You must have the right to work in the UK with no sponsorship required In return: This business offers flexible working, a close-knit and friendly team, and a real sense of purpose.
