7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver Shift: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 07.00 STARTS Pay Rate: £14.46 PER HOUR - £21.36 PER HOUR OVERTIME AFTER 42 HOURS People Solutions are looking for 7.5 Tonne Drivers for our client based in Normanton . You must undergo a DBS check for this role. Benefits: Site parking Weekly Pay Ongoing work Potential for a permanent role Day to Day Duties: Driving 7.5tonne safely and efficiently to make multiple deliveries Follow company procedures and comply with the driving rules and regulations Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and vehicle is well presented at all times Complete deliveries to Hospital Trusts, GP Surgeries and Care Homes Be available to cover ad hoc work Be available to start work at 7am Occasional covering van work Essential Skills: Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence UK CPC Card UK Digi Card Have a minimum of one year delivery driving experience Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes Work in a professional manner Must undergo a DBS check for this role Positive can do attitude Willing to learn Desirable Experience: High volume multi drop experience would be an advantage. The Position An exciting opening has arisen for a Fallen Stock Collector Driver 7.5 Tonne to join our Fallen Stock Department at our F.D Statton & Son/SecAnim site in Cornwall. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established, progressive, and sustainable company, that is committed to helping conserve natural resources and protecting the environment. In return we will offer you the opportunity to develop your existing skillset to fulfil your potential. This is a full time, permanent position working 45 hours p/wk, Monday to Friday (plus Saturday s/BH s when required). The duties and responsibilities will vary but will include: • Driving 7.5tonne vehicles/operating vehicle equipment. • Undertaking vehicle checks/paperwork/housekeeping duties. • Dispatching (kill) farm animals at customer premises. • Use electronic PDA. Requirements: • Hold full UK Driving Licence (LGV C1 essential). • Driver CPC completed. • Hold a slaughter Licence/WATOK Licence, although training can be provided. • Hold firearm certificate (beneficial). • Agricultural/fallen stock background.
