Bartender, required for our client - a prestigious hotel located in Canterbury, Kent. As Bartender, candidates will have previous beverage service experience from within a hotel or from within a stand-alone Bar to include cocktails experience and service of food within the bar area. The role Bar Person will require you to work as part of the F&B service team, to provide exceptional service and smooth delivery of service. Shift work is involved, and this includes working week-ends, which are the busiest time and evenings / late shift. The salary for Bartender is given as COMPETITIVE / plus company benefits. Transport may well be beneficial due to the shift work depending on where you live due to some late finishes. Part-time shifts may also be available if you are looking for some part-time work. N.E. An independent spirit at the social heartof an evolving Shoreditch. As a Shift Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our building, facilities, and equipment to the highest standards. You'll respond quickly to maintenance requests, carry out preventative maintenance, and ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and safe experience. Key Responsibilities Carry out day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance across the hotel. Respond promptly to guest and team requests, ensuring minimal disruption. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues. Work closely with the wider hotel team to maintain safety, comfort, and efficiency. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Maintenance/Shift Engineer, ideally in a hotel or large building environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. A proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail. A team player with a guest-first mindset and excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends. Your role As Sweeties Bartender you will be passionate about service, with an exceptional working knowledge of bar operations and order of service; along with a deep understanding of cocktails, spirts, champagne, and quality wines to make recommendations to guests based on their preferences. You will assist with cocktail prep, bar and event set up, and create and mix a range of signature cocktails in addition to the classics.
