Our client a small forwarder are looking for a candidate with some previous experience within an Import role. 80% Airfreight but also some Road and Seafreight. Willing to put their hand in at every opportunity and go above and beyond to support the Companies business verticals Handling aerospace, general cargo, AOG, hazardous and live animals. Experience of working in an import department, all aspects of a booking process from start to finish including Customs entries Opportunity to learn airfreight exports Computer literate with a clear understanding of Excel, Word and PowerPoint Understand a full range of Incoterms and current Customs Procedures Have a clear understanding of International Trade Regulations Have an exceptional understanding of Geography, Mathematics and Literacy Service & Engagement is non-negotiable - retaining and growing the existing customer base whilst ensuring exceptional customer service Have a willingness to learn and develop in a fast paced setting Multi modal experience preferable but Airfreight essential DG trained preferable Cargowise or Boxtop experience preferable Level CO security essential Car driver essential Salary £25,000 This is not a Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm role, you will be on a rota for call outs (1 in 3) for AOG shipments and other urgent shipments and the role is very much job to finish.
