Intervene sensitively if necessary to redirect or manage difficult situations. Promote positive and healthy communication between children and their families. Key Responsibilities: Supervising and facilitating contact sessions to promote positive family relationships. Ensuring that the needs and welfare of the child remain the focus at all times. Writing clear, accurate, and objective reports following each contact session. Working closely with social workers, families, and legal professionals as needed. Adhering to safeguarding policies and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with children and families Must have a minimum 6 months UK experience working with children and families Must be able to provide references to cover your current and most previous employers. Must have an enhanced Adult and Child DBS registered on the update service or willing to process a new one with Prospero. A caring, professional, and impartial approach with strong observational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce detailed, objective reports. Patience, resilience, and the ability to manage potentially challenging situations. Understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
