Commercial Director required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom. Responsibilities Developing the Project Business Case; overseeing financial modelling, driving optimisation by liaison with technical, consents, asset package leaders and other project functions. Commercial (non-purchase agreements, CfD, OFTO, PPAs, Insurance, hedging, etc. Project Finance: ensuring the project is 'bankable', engagement of and liaison with advisors. Liaison with project finance functions in shareholder organisations. Financial; overseeing the Finance Manager effecting all accounting and treasury functions. Leading cost control, forecasting and management systems. Liaison with shareholder asset managers on matters in relation to the Joint Venture Company. Managerial oversight of the Legal function within the project; (note the Project Counsel also has dotted line responsibility direct to the PD). Risk management; ensuring balanced risk proposition in the business case. Route to Market strategy definition & implementation. Ensuring comprehensive and robust management and control systems and procedures are in place and being implemented effectively.
