The successful applicant will deliver an efficient, compliant, and consistently high standard of repairs service to customers, ensuring that customer satisfaction is at the heart of every job you complete. Responsibilities: Competent to complete a wide variety carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks at multiskilled level and in accordance with the Skills Awards L2/3 NVQ Diploma in Maintenance Operations or equivalent. Tasks include plumbing, carpentry and masonry both internally and externally to properties and communal areas. Ensure that work is carried out to a professional standard, adhering to building regulations, codes of practice or best practice. Liaise with customers and other colleagues, as appropriate, to ensure all relevant individuals are aware of progress and action taken. Provide a high-quality service to customers and maintain a good customer relationship. Ensure at all times that all works comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the post Use and apply a Schedule of Rates for job costing repairs and ensuring repair orders are varied to correct value. Requirements: Competent to complete a wide variety carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks at multiskilled level Minimum NVQ level 2, or time served experience in either carpentry, masonry and/or plumbing with proven competency in non-core trades. Multi Trader / Wet Room / Bathroom Fitter Our client Marlowe is looking for a multi trader who has experience of installing bathrooms and level access showers adaptations (Wet rooms) to join their growing team. Sub contractor role & Employed roles available Competitive rates of pay and price work Steady stream or wo Ability to work independently Excellent problem solving and communication skills Van can be supplied if required Typical day to day activities to be carried include on a level access adaptation Strip outs: Isolating hot and cold feeds, removing existing Bath, tiles and flooring. First fix plumbing: Routing all existing pipework out of the wet area and running of new cold feed to shower. Make good walls for tiling: dry line or bonding of walls. Studwork: Some studwork may need building to house pipework and electrics Fit tuff form tray: cut out floorboards to facilitate laying of tuff form tray and running of new gravity waste and connections. Prep subfloor: Laying of 6mm plywood overlay in remaining floor area. Wall Tiling: Approx 10m2 of tiling in wet area and splash back on basin. average tile size 250 x250mm Remove and refit existing WC to facilitate the laying of new safety flooring. Second fix plumbing: fit new basin and semi ped. Fit new shower. Fit new standard 750mm wet room screens. Fitting of Grab rails: communicate with clients in the best position. Clean and seal Flooring to be carried out by others. Electrics to be carried out by others. Experience in plumbing, tiling and carpentry is essential for this role.
